A meeting that brings together Faculty and Trainees from the UPMC Department of Family Medicine and UPMC Family Medicine Residencies to share progress on scholarly activities in the last year.
The program will include poster and podium presentations of ongoing and completed work, a keynote address and time for networking.
Travel Information:
- Rooms have been blocked at Holiday Inn Express & Suites across the street from the convention center.
- Nightly rate is $99.00.
- Cut off for this promotional room rate is April 16, 2024.
Abstract Submission:
- Abstract submission is online at this link.
- Submissions are open until March 25
- Submission criteria
- Projects that have been started or completed since May 19 2023 (last scholarship day) are ideal
- Applicants must be a resident, fellow, or faculty member in good standing at any of the UPMC Family Medicine residencies or the Pitt Department.
- All submissions must have IRB, research board. QI, or program director approval.
- Applications to present are welcome from:
- Faculty members including pharmacists, social workers, etc
- Fellows
- Residents
- Advance Practice Providers
- Submission categories
- Podium presentation (project MUST be completed by the time of the scholarship day)
- Submissions for a podium presentation that are not accepted will be automatically considered for a poster presentation.
- 10 total selected
- Poster presentation (project does NOT need to be completed by the time of scholarship day)
- Podium presentation (project MUST be completed by the time of the scholarship day)
- Prizes (Amazon gift cards) for posters/presentations that are led by trainees in a number of categories.
