Biography

Dr. Lincoln is Assistant Professor of Family Medicine, Department of Family Medicine. Dr. Lincoln serves on the Pharmacy, and Therapeutics Committee at Presbyterian and Magee Hospitals. He is Medical Liaison to the Radiology and Laboratory Committees. Dr. Lincoln is also the faculty sponsor of the Family Medicine Interest Group. Dr. Lincoln was awarded a B.A. in Chemistry from New College (FL) in 1982.

He attended Cornell University, graduating with a M.S. in organic chemistry.

He was awarded a M.D. from State University of New York at Stonybrook, School of Medicine in 1990. His family practice internship and residency were from 1990–1993 at St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. He worked for several years with the Indian Health Service before joining the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC.

He has received the UPMC St. Margaret Residency Recognition Teaching Award for Obstetrics and the Excellence in Teaching Award, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, for Introduction to Medical Interviewing Course.
