Family Medicine PittNet is a practice-based research network established in 2023 by the University of Pittsburgh Clinical and Translational Science Institute and the Department of Family Medicine. Our goal is to speed the translation of research discoveries into practice by working with primary care patients, practices, providers, and investigators. Our vision is to improve the standards of care in our community and beyond.
Our 15 member practices span six counties in Western and Central Pennsylvania and serve about 45,000 patients. We have many recruitment, facilitation, and implementation services to offer and can schedule a consultation to talk through how we can support your work. All research activities with our member practices need to go through Family Medicine PittNet, so please contact us before reaching out to any practice.
